Our need for everyone’s financial support is greater than ever. We cannot say how hugely appreciative we are for all kind and generous giving.
Why give?
- The bible describes giving as a response to God’s generous and unstinting love, an expression of our thanks and the value we place on God’s presence in our community in all its joys, celebrations, needs and pain.
The need for your giving
- As a charity, St Stephen’s like all parish churches, is 100% reliant on its givers' generosity to provide for its ministry and building upkeep
- St Stephen’s is currently facing substantial fundraising demands for extensive restoration to the building and facility upgrades to meet future community and worship needs
The impact of your giving
- Giving enables mission, community outreach and pastoral care to all in our community and our schools
How can you give?
- Planned/regular giving via standing order ideally with gift aid declaration.
- Regular weekly giving with fully completed Gift Aid Envelopes (including full name/house name or number/postcode).
- Contactless via Sum Up is always appreciated but is the least beneficial due to transaction costs
- Legacies - this generous giving can be dedicated to a particular need or memory
- Donations – online or via QR codes in our church service orders.
- Gift Aid is hugely valued so please ask our Treasurer for details.
- Time and talent ‘donations’ are warmly welcomed especially at this key moment in St Stephen’s history.
You will be enriched in every way so that you can be generous on every occasion, and through us your generosity will result in thanksgiving to God.
