Philip's interview with Andrew
"Here is an interview with our new curate, Andrew Avramenko. He's not allowed to wear a collar until he's properly ordained in September, or he certainly would have been!
Hope you enjoy it - it's our first joyful steps in getting to know him."

Since we started lockdown we have been in various seasons, Lent, Passiontide, Holy Week, Easter, Ascension, Ascension to Pentecost … we are now in Ordinary Time, or Trinity. This is the time between now and All Saints. Rather than one set liturgy for Morning Prayer (and Evening Prayer) there is a different one on each day of the week. If you’re following Morning Prayer via the Church of England App, then it will be there for you each day. Do check you've got the right day on the liturgies below if you're using this website.

How We Walk with Jesus through Easter Weekend.
There are so many services that we have come to love during this time, and we've decided to bring the flavour of each into a ten minute reflection / service each day - available to view on our YouTube channel. The times are when they are available, but you can watch them later, too.
The theme is 'againrising' - a translation from the Middle English word used for 'resurrection'. It has a new resonance this year as most of our world is in tomb-like lockdown.

"Rumours of Hope"
There are lots of resources and sources of ideas, hope and discussion out there. I recommend this page - not least because it features my favourite lecturer at college! It’s creative and imaginative, and I like to think that the theology and intention of the posts and comments are close to the inclusive, hospitable, generous heart of our benefice.
